Itinerary

At around 08:00 am start riding from Keys Hotel to Marangu gate (1,900 meters above sea level), the starting point for Kilimanjaro treks via the Marangu route. Get a short briefing on the history of Mt. Kilimanjaro and take some pictures too at the gate.
Then ride down to our second stop about 4 Km to the coffee farm. Visit a small coffee farm, where you will learn about how the coffee is grown, harvested, and processed locally. Try your own hand at processing, roasting, and preparing a fresh cup of coffee.
After your cup of coffee continues riding to the Ndoro waterfalls. You will ride on the beautiful small plantations of bananas and coffee enjoying the green landscape. It will take about 30 to 45 minutes. Swim in the cold water from the springs of Mt. Kilimanjaro.
From the waterfall start riding to the Chagga underground caves and the Chagga live Museum about 2 Km. Take some few minutes of learning the history of the caves and visit the museum which will give you the insight history of the Chagga life.
Break for your lunch, could be a hot or packed lunch according to your prior arrangement.
After lunch continues to the Blacksmith to learn how this community makes iron tools like spears etc. Cycling to Himo – 14.3 Km, where you put your bikes in the car and drive back to Keys Hotel.
