Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival Zanziba & Stone Town Tour.

You will be met on arrival at Julius Nyeree airport and drive to a hotel in Dar.Check in at Seashells millennium hotel in Dar in dar and relaxing.
Overnight at Keys seashells hotel (BB)
Day 2: Arrival Zanzibar and Safari Blue

Drive from Keys hotel to ferry and yakeboat to Zanzibar. The sail is about two hours.Upon arrival you will meet our driver and drive to Amaan beach bungalows.
After check in to a hotel you will be picked up from your hotel to Fumba village where you will meet your special boat, it is about visiting three different sandbanks and you will stop in one of those for Seafood lunch where by later you do snorkeling and having the chance of seeing the dolphins.
It is full day tour and back at 17:30 Fumba village and arrives at the hotel around 18:30.
Dinner and overnight at Amaan Bungalows: (BB)
Day 3: Turtle and Prison Island

After breakfast at the hotel, you will meet a guide and go for half day turtle tour.Discover how locals live their everyday lives and how they make their livelihoods. After that you will visit Mnarani Aquarium. Mnarani Aquarium is a small tidal lake surrounded by the porous coral rag stone that is home to dozens of endangered hawksbill and green turtles. You will get to Swim and snorkel with few dozen green and Hawksbill turtles, feed the turtles with seaweed and to take photographs.
In addition, you can see the offspring of all turtle species found in Zanzibar, including a leatherback turtle, a loggerhead sea turtle, and an olive Ridley turtle, some of which are rescued from the sea or from fishermen’s nets. An informative guide will tell you all about the life of these endangered creatures
You will also have a chance to visit dhow (local boat) makers by the beach and see how a boat will be prepared or made from the scratc
In the afternoon you will go to Prison island tour . Prison island is also known as Changuu island, the name “prison island” came after this unique island being used by some sultans of Zanzibar to detain the recalcitrant slaves.
Once on Changuu Island, your guide will explain the colourful history of the area, including the prison building – which still stands. Today the island is home to some of Zanzibar’s oldest residents – descendants of the Aldabra giant tortoises that were a gift to the people of Zanzibar from the Seychelles government; some of them are rumoured to have reached over a hundred years old. Look a little harder and you may also spot butterflies, bats and even the very shy duiker.

You can also take a memorable pictures with the giant tortoises, most of these animals are 70 to over 100 hundreds years, with our trained guide, he will start by explaining how are they that keen on particular plants and what general they dislike.
This day tour will be the best for snorkeling lovers and as well as beach relaxers, however there are a lot to discover including historical sites.

Day 4: Stone Town and Spice Tour

This is important place for different spices. In the morning after breakfast, you will depart to Kizimbani village special for spice tour. You will have an opportunity to see spices like Cloves, Cinnamon, Black pepper, Nutmeg, Turmeric root. They are actually growing in the plantations. Furthermore, you will see plants like Henna bushes, Lipstick tree and Lemon grass. You will have a short break for hot spice lunch prepared by a chef then visit the Kidichi Persian Baths that were built by the first Sultans of Zanzibar in 1850 and Maruhubi Palace ruins built by the third Sultan of Zanzibar in 1880.
After the spice tour, drive to Stone Town for tour.Your program starts by walk on our Historical Stone Town Tour. This tour takes you through fabled Stone Town, where history appears to stand still. With visits to the House of Wonders, the Palace Museum (People’s Palace), and the Arab Fort amongst others, it is a fascinating look at the essence of Zanzibar. You will see Zanzibar’s bustling market, winding alleyways, ornately carved and studded doors, two cathedrals, and countless mosques.After the tour drive to ferry to catch boat to Dar.Meet our driver and drive to Keys hotel.
Overnight at Seashells hotel Dar (BB)
Day 5: Dar es Salaam – Mikumi National Park

Pick up from Seashells hotel in Dar at 5:00sm and proceed to south of Dar es Salaam, along the Tanzania/ Zambia Highway with picnic lunch. The drive is approximately 5 hours. Go for afternoon game drives at Mikumi National Park. In the evening drive to the lodge for overnight.
With 3,230 square kilometers coverage Mikumi National Park is well-known park in Tanzania. The park is well-known for its population of elephants, giraffe’s buffaloes, zebras, elands, and greater Kudu, wildebeest, roan and sable antelope. Predators include tree-climbing lions (which are in large number), leopards, wild hunting dogs and black-backed jackal. More than 300 species of birds have been recorded here including Eurasian migrants such as red billed woodpecker, marabou stork and lilac breasted roller.

Day 6: Mikumi National Park – Dar es Salaam

After early breakfast depart at 7.00am for half-day game viewing until afternoon when you will start driving back to a hotel in Dar es Salaam with game drive on the way.
Morning game viewing is the best time for game viewing as most of the killings take place around this time. Our professional guide is always happy to share with you lots of hidden secrets in the Mikumi National Park.
