This is an ideal trip for mountain bikers looking for a challenge or any avid cyclists wishing to cycle on Mt. Kilimanjaro. On a clear day, you will see breathtaking views of Kibo peak as you cycle towards the helipad.
Itinerary
After breakfast at 07.00 am you will be transferred by car from Keys Hotel to Londorosi Gate on the western side of Mt. Kilimanjaro where your tour begins 83 Kms (about 2 – 3hours). First, you will cycle through the forest zone followed by the heather and moorland zone as you head towards the helipad on the Shira Plateau. You will then turn back and enjoy a relaxing downhill ride back to Londorosi Gate where your tour ends. The total ride will be about 41 Km. You will then be picked up from Londorosi gate by car and transferred back to Keys Hotel.
