After breakfast at Keys Hotel, depart to Tarangire National Park with your lunch boxes for the Game drive. The driving is along the beautiful Maasai steppe & many villages. It is famous for its dense wildlife population, which is most spectacular in the dry season between June and September. It is during this period that thousands of animals- wildebeest, zebras, elands, hartebeests, buffaloes, and Oryxs migrate from the dry Maasai steppe to the Tarangire River in search of water. The predators – lions, leopards and others- as is the custom in the savanna follow closely by birds are also abundant here and over 350 species have been recorded in the evening.Away from the Ngorongoro Crater that is said to have the densest concentration of wildlife in Africa. After breakfast around 8am you will depart for Ngorongoro crater for a full day of game viewing with picnic lunch. A real life Eden, you will be amazed by its abundant wildlife that get very close to the vehicle. The crater floor supports more than 25,000 large mammals including the remaining Black Rhinos, Zebras, Gnus, Gazelles, Buffalos, Lions, Hippos, Elephants, Elands, Hyenas and a number of aquatic birds. After breakfast, we head to Lake Manyara National Park. The park is dominated by the lake of the same name, which attracts large colonies of water birds. Particularly impressive are the pink-colored flamingos, but also many other bird species such as cormorants, pelicans or storks can be observed here. A total of about 400 different bird species live in the park. The park is also famous for its tree climbing lions, which are usually found in the central and open part of the park. During the safari you will also see elephants, zebras, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many other animal species.
