Established in 1952, Serengeti is home to the world’s greatest wildlife spectacle, the Great Migration of wildebeest and zebras. It also boasts impressive resident populations of lions, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, and countless bird species. Covering 14,763 sq km (5,700 sq miles), the Serengeti is larger than the U.S. state of Connecticut, yet sees only a few hundred safari vehicles at any one time, ensuring vast open spaces and breathtaking wilderness.

Your camp is set in a stunning location alongside the Nyabogati River, immersing you in the heart of nature with abundant bird life and wildlife all around. The area, dotted with acacia trees, is the perfect place to enjoy spectacular sunsets over the distant hills.

Spend the day exploring Serengeti National Park with morning and afternoon game drives. Your safari guide will lead you through wildlife-rich areas, where you may witness predators on the hunt, elephants roaming the plains, and massive herds of wildebeests and zebras. The evenings at camp offer serenity, with golden sunsets and the soothing sounds of the wild all around.

After breakfast, drive up to the Ngorongoro Highlands. Stop briefly at the Crater Viewpoint for breathtaking views before descending the 600-meter-high walls into the Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive with picnic lunch. Often referred to as the Eden of Africa, the Ngorongoro Crater offers spectacular scenery and one of the densest concentrations of wildlife in the world.

The crater floor is home to around 30,000 animals, including wildebeests, zebras, hippos, elephants, gazelles, elands, warthogs, and the rare black rhino. Predators thrive here as well, with large populations of lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs, and the elusive leopard.

You will also visit Lake Magadi, a shallow alkaline lake in the southwestern part of the crater, which attracts flamingos, hippos, and a wide variety of aquatic birds. In the afternoon, ascend from the crater and drive to Lake Burunge Tented Lodge, where the elegant central restaurant overlooks the lakeshore, offering the chance to spot animals coming to drink. The lodge is strategically positioned in the natural corridor between Manyara and Tarangire, making it an excellent place to witness seasonal migrations.

Located just 10 minutes from Sangaiwe Gate, the camp is the perfect retreat to unwind in comfort after a day on safari. Relax with a cool breeze and enjoy the colors of the African sunset from your private terrace.

After breakfast, enjoy morning and afternoon game drives in Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch, before returning to Arusha or Moshi in the late afternoon.

Tarangire is one of the finest national parks in northern Tanzania, named after the Tarangire River, which runs through it. The park’s landscape is characterized by rolling hills, acacia woodlands, majestic baobab trees, and seasonal swamps. The Tarangire River, being the only permanent water source in the park, attracts a large concentration of wildlife, especially during the dry season.

Tarangire is renowned for its huge elephant population, one of the largest in Africa. Other animals commonly spotted include giraffes, buffaloes, zebras, impalas, wildebeests, warthogs, baboons, and various monkeys. Rare species such as the greater kudu, fringed-eared oryx, and ashy starling are also found here. Predators like lions, leopards, cheetahs, hyenas, and jackals roam the park, while vultures and other birds of prey circle above. As the day ends, return to Moshi or Arusha, marking the conclusion of your unforgettable safari.
