Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park is often called a little gem, and for good reason. Just one hour drive from Arusha town, the safari hub of northern Tanzania, this park offers a mix of beauty, wildlife, and adventure. The park is dominated by Mount Meru, which rises to 4,566 m (14,980 ft). It is Africa’s 5th-highest free-standing mountain and the second-highest in Tanzania. Arusha National Park provides unforgettable experiences and is also the perfect place to acclimatize before climbing Mount Kilimanjaro.

Best Time To Visit
The best months are June to October and December to March, when the dry season makes wildlife easier to see as animals gather around water sources. Rainfall is low, vegetation is thinner, and mosquitoes are fewer. However, Mount Meru can be climbed all year round.
