Best Time To Visit

Bwindi is open for gorilla trekking all year long, but the best times are from June to August and December to February. At these times, the forest trails are drier and therefore less slippery. Gorilla viewing experience is higher during these months. This might result in a better experience and photographing will be easier.

Wildlife To See

The park is a sanctuary for colobus monkeys, chimpanzees, and many birds such as hornbills and turacos. It is most notable for the 400 Bwindi gorillas, half of the world’s population of the endangered mountain gorillas.
