Zanzibar
Zanzibar is a tropical paradise off the coast of Tanzania, made up of a group of islands. The main island, Unguja (commonly called Zanzibar), is rich in history and culture. Stone Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, showcases winding alleys, carved doors, mosques, and the famous House of Wonders, once a Sultan’s palace. On the northern beaches, villages like Nungwi and Kendwa offer powdery white sand, turquoise waters, and vibrant nightlife.

Best Time To Visit
Zanzibar is a tropical destination that can be enjoyed year-round, but the best time to visit is during the dry season from June to October, when the skies are clear and the weather is perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and exploring the Spice Islands.
The months of December to February are also popular, with warm, sunny days ideal for beach holidays. The long rains from March to May can make the islands hot and humid, while the short rains in November are usually brief and followed by sunshine, so travel is still possible.
Visitors planning trips during Ramadan should note that many businesses operate on reduced hours, and it is respectful to dress modestly when in towns and villages.
